ServiceNow Trusted Advisor: Equinox Gold (Upgrades)

ServiceNow Upgrades were taking weeks to complete and were resulting in many interruptions for the business. Over the course of 18 months, Upgrade Governance was established that included a mature cloning process, a monthly patch management strategy, automated ServiceNow Plugin and Store App updates, as well as an effective communication strategy with the business for upcoming upgrades. This has resulted in the upgrade process taking less than 2 weeks and with a single-day blackout for the Development instance and another one for their Test instance. No production issues have been reported as a result of an upgrade and Equinox Gold is able to quickly and easily upgrade and leverage all of the latest functionality and security features in ServiceNow.
