ServiceNow Trusted Advisor: MIT via EPI-USE

MIT was using multiple tools for Configuration Management and Hardware Asset Management across multiple teams. While they did not own the ServiceNow Discovery product, they did want to leverage the platform to consolidate the tools and manage both processes (Configuration and Asset) Management in one platform. We built a POC in their Dev instance that was 4 different integrations working together to populate their CMDB and then automatically sync their Assets. These integrations also showcased ServiceNow’s 360 CMDB capabilities, as some records existed in multiple source systems and we prioritized certain systems over others as more trustable data. This consolidation showcased that ServiceNow could become the system of engagement for all their CMDB and Hardware Asset Management needs.
